STAND UP PADDLEBOARD YOGA

We are all looking forward to having fun in the sun this season. Find your balance and breath on the water with a SUP Yoga Practice. You’ll move through a full power yoga flow out on the water using a stand up paddleboard.

LOGISTICS

Classes are held at Lakefront Promenade Park. No experience is necessary, but we suggest having a certain level of comfort in the water. Spots are limited & preregistration is required. Keep an eye out looking for details about classes.

EQUIPMENT

Included: paddleboard & paddle, leash, personal flotation device & fun!
Please bring: swim or athletic clothing, a towel, water, a change of clothes, sunscreen, and anything else you can think of!
BYOB: bring your own board? Save per class!

CANCELLATIONS

If we need to cancel a class due to weather or water conditions, you will receive notice 1 hour before the start of class. You will be emailed and text messaged, in which case you can reschedule another class time.

STAND UP PADDLEBOARD (SUP) YOGA TEACHER TRAINING

25-hour Module with Izzy Santos – July 17, 18, 24, 2021

Prerequisite*: 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training Certification
Tuition: $700 + tax

Spend two weekends on the water learning how to teach the Basic SUP Skills as outlined by Paddle Canada

  • Learn rescue techniques
  • Create and confidently teach a 1.5 hour SUP Yoga Class
  • Practical and fun elements to create an amazing client experience!

After certification you will receive:

  • Yoga Alliance Continuing Education credits/Power Yoga Canada Continuing Education Module- 25 hours
  • Paddle Canada Basic SUP Skills Certification

*It is recommended that you have completed your 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training Certification. This is foundational to the flow. You are able to participate if you are currently enrolled in 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training or will be taking it shortly. It is not advised to instruct SUP Yoga until you have completed your 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training.

PRIVATE SESSIONS

Privates are a great way to receive tailored coaching or a great way to put together a stellar event for your friends!

  • One on One- $80 CAD + tax
  • Group of 2- $60 CAD per person + tax
  • Group of 3 to 8- $50 CAD per person + tax

Join Izzy from SUP Yoga for a fun and adventurous stand up paddleboarding experience out #onthewater

Growing up on the beautiful coast of Portugal, it was natural for Izzy to fall in love with the ocean. Its incredible energy, calming qualities, and positive impact on human health make it the one place that Izzy truly feels at peace. 

Izzy’s passion has inspired her to share what she loves on her retreats all over the world. For the last 8 years, Izzy been facilitating Surf Yoga, Sup & SUP Yoga, and Yoga Wellness experiences. She enjoys challenging people to think about themselves, their experience with the ocean, yoga, sup & surfing while meeting lifelong friends, creating memories that will stick for the rest of their lives!

Izy is a certified yoga & sup yoga instructor, a Paddle Canada certified instructor & a Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider (YACEP). Her practice and promise will give you access to vitality, awakening, and possibility!
