Allison

Allison’s teaching is rooted in connection, presence, and the belief that yoga is a practice of coming home to yourself. With a deep appreciation for the mind-body connection, she creates a welcoming space for students to slow down, reconnect, and move with intention. Her classes blend gentle guidance, breath awareness, and opportunities for self-reflection, inviting students to meet themselves exactly where they are.

Angel

Angel

Angel’s Yoga embraces movement that feels real, joyful, and a little unconventional. Creative flows, thoughtful sequencing, and deep anatomical expertise invite you to find embodiment through motion. My Pilates teaching is more grounded and precise anatomy‑informed strengthening that supports mobility, alignment, and injury recovery.

I like anything that has to do with moving my body - whether that is hiking, skiing, canoeing or dancing. I try to do it all! I also listen to a lot of different types of music and love to bring that into my practice.

I tried yoga for the first time when I was 44 years old. I was looking for some mental calm. Not only found that but an amazing physical workout and a great community of friends. I started teaching eight years later and it has been the love of my life. I enjoy inspiring other people to walk their own path to success.

I have always been a flower child! Barefoot on the earth held by the elements. Health and holistic wellness have always been in my realm. Yoga entered my life at the age of 17 and opened my eyes to a spiritual world unknown to me. My body, mind and soul craved it! I felt called in 2022 to fly to Costa Rica for a few months! I did my 200hr YTT training with Innersea Yoga Academy. I got a job teaching at a surf and yoga hostel for several weeks, teaching vinyasa flow style yoga, hosting estatic dances and guided meditations. I am always a student first. The yoga I teach follows themes of grounding, gratitude and breathe always bring it back to you. Showing your body what is safe and what us possible! I am just beginning to dip my toes into the ocean of possibilities with what I can offer. Simply grateful for the opportunity!

Movement should feel good! After a decade of corporate hustle and the birth of my kids, I fell in love with Pilates because it made me stronger, grounded, and connected to my body in a way I hadn’t felt for a long time. In my classes, you’ll find mindful movement and a whole lot of good energy. Expect killer playlists, spicy pulses, and a motivating atmosphere where you can challenge yourself, have fun, and leave feeling stronger than when you walked in. When I’m not teaching, you can find me around town or on the farm with my kiddos.

While mountain biking is my first love, discovering yoga and Pilates brought everything full circle. They provide the deep physical balance, core strength, and inner peace I spent years looking for. I love how they constantly challenge me and make my body feel amazing, giving me continuous opportunities to grow as a whole, strong, and balanced person.

Yoga has been part of my life since the early 2000s, and teaching since 2019 has felt like a natural extension of my own practice. I carry the breath-body connection into everything I do. I primarily teach Hatha Vinyasa and Yin, creating classes that help students build body awareness, move with greater ease, and reconnect with themselves. My teaching blends yoga’s roots with thoughtful, functional movement that meets students where they are. I’m currently deepening my studies in Yoga Nidra as well.

Morgan

Hi I'm Morgan, I found PYC in 2018, tried a bunch of studios and teachers and landed in a deep rooted community in PYC BURLY when it was opening. I began falling in love with the practice and did my certification in 2020. Since then I've taught yoga internationally at retreats, surf resorts, completed Conscious Connected Breathwork Certification, studied Poly vagal Theory and completed a 300 Hour Hatha Yoga Training in Nepal. I love hosting women’s circles, and ecstatic dances, guiding Yoga Nidras and jamming with acro yoga. You can count on me to be down for swimming, surfing, skateboarding, hiking, eating chocolate or watermelon and bringing good vibes!

I found my way to yoga as a practice of presence, curiosity, and connection. My classes are rooted in three guiding principles: breath, exploration, and feeling what we need to feel. I encourage students to move with awareness, approach their practice with a spirit of discovery, and stay connected to themselves throughout. Expect thoughtful movement, mindful breathing, and a light, playful atmosphere—we work hard, but we don’t take ourselves too seriously.

I found yoga when I was in the depths of an eating disorder and it changed my life. It was the first time in a very long time that I felt like I was back in my body. I truly believe there is something for everyone in this practice, and it is always ready to meet you where you are. I opened PYC Collngwood because I wanted to create a space where everyone can experience the magic of hot power yoga and discover what this practice can offer them. It has become so much more since then. We are a community who inspire, challenge and support one another, on and off the mat.

2010 was the catalyst for my yoga teaching journey, and I have yet to look back. My classes combine mindful movement, breath, strength, and mobility to create a practice that feels both grounding and energizing. I believe yoga is about connecting with your body, quieting the mind, and meeting yourself exactly where you are. My goal is to create a welcoming space where you can leave feeling renewed.
