meet the Etobicoke teaching team

Chris
Chris
Chris discovered PYC Etobicoke in 2012 after trying an introductory special—and never looked back. At the time, she was navigating career burnout, and yoga became the perfect balance of physical challenge, mental clarity, and community. She always dreamed of taking teacher training, but between work and raising two daughters, the timing never felt right. In 2025, with her daughters off at university, she completed her 200-hour PYC Teacher Training in Nicaragua. The experience deepened her love of yoga, strengthened her self-confidence, and inspired her to teach. Christine loves leading power, deep flow, and yin classes, creating a welcoming space where every student can move, breathe, and find exactly what they need that day.

Katerina
Katerina
I’m Kat, B.Sc, RYT 500. I teach Power, Deep Flow, Yin, and meditation. I teach from a place where modern science meets ancient wisdom, and invite you to meet the best version of yourself available in that moment— not an idealized one; the one that’s actually here. Growth and comfort rarely travel together—and that’s usually the point. You don’t “find” yourself. You meet yourself. Move the body, still the mind. Exhale. You’ve got this.

Sabina
Sabina
Hi, I'm Sabina! I teach Pilates Fire at @pycetobicoke, where I love creating classes that are fun, energetic, and welcoming. My goal is to help every client feel strong, empowered, and leave each class with a smile. The incredible energy and dedication of my students inspire me week after week and are a big part of why I love teaching. Pilates has become a true passion of mine, and I feel so grateful to be part of such an amazing studio and community.

Silvana
Silvana
My yoga journey truly shifted my vision, finding connection of breath, body, and mind, discovering a deeply healing and transformative practice that cultivates inner peace, emotional resilience, and a sense of belonging within a supportive community. I strive to lead classes rooted in compassion, mindfulness, and inclusivity, focusing on creating a safe, welcoming space for students to reconnect with themselves. By blending breathwork, sequencing, alignment cues and gentle encouragement, I hope to empower students to explore their own unique path and deepen their mind-body awareness - on and off the mat.

Susan
Susan
Susan creates classes that are welcoming, grounded, and accessible to every body and every stage of practice. Drawing from Vinyasa, Ayurveda, Restorative, Yin, Yoga Nidra and Meditation, she thoughtfully blends movement, breath, and mindfulness to support strength, balance, and deep restoration. Susan believes yoga is about connection—not perfection. Her classes encourage students to move with intention, slow down when needed, and meet themselves with curiosity and compassion. Whether you're seeking an energizing flow or a peaceful reset, you'll find a supportive space to grow, recharge, and simply be.
