Amanda
Amanda
Amanda is an E-RYT 500 certified yoga teacher, certified mat Pilates instructor, Reiki Master, and 100-hour certified sound therapist. She trained traditionally in pranayama and meditation in Rishikesh, India, and her teaching remains rooted entirely in classical Indian lineage and tradition. Her approach is somatic and sensation-based, inviting students into a deeper, more embodied relationship with breath, alignment, and stillness. In 2022, Amanda left her corporate career to become a full-time yoga, sound, and breathwork teacher, devoting herself entirely to the practices she now shares with her students.

Becca
Becca
Becca (she, her) has done yoga for over 20 years. She found the practice when her running coach told her she needed to mix in yoga to avoid injury. She started doing yoga once a week, for a workout and stretch. Eventually the practice evolved to much more than that. Power Yoga Canada has taught Becca breath, presence, and gratitude, both on and off her mat. In her teaching, she is excited to share her learnings and foster an environment where students can take the time to be present for themselves and grow.

Blake
Blake
For me teaching yoga is very empowering. The intention behind my teaching is to create an experience for others where they too feel empowered. I teach everything from meditation to power and tailor my classes to the needs of the students in the room. I lead with breath, simple cues, and you can always expect a few jokes / some storytelling.

Chlo T
Chlo T
As a classically trained ballerina, yoga was always in Chlo's world, but it wasn't until she found mindfulness and meditation that she understood the power of yoga. Yoga showed her how to find calm in chaos, and peace in uncertainty. Teaching yoga is the best part of her week. Chlo fells blessed to be able to guide people through the marriage of movement and music.

Dorota B
Dorota B
Dorota has been a professional Pilates instructor for 11 years, although her interest in health and movement began at a very early age. She originally trained in dance and a multitude of mind and movement disciplines as well as operated her own Wholistic Center for several years but soon discovered that healthy mind alone was not enough to sustain inner/outer balance. She began to further her studies and received certifications in various fitness modalities with a main focus on Pilates because she loved the core strength, energy and mobility it gave her. Dorota's extensive, multifaceted knowledge coupled with passion for teaching and dedication makes her a highly sought after instructor. Dorota is known for balancing her challenging workouts with focused integration of body/mind/breath awareness, while keeping them fun and diverse on all levels. In each and every class, Dorota challenges her clients to safely push their physical and mental boundaries, to feel the ultimate strength, freedom and confidence in their bodies.

Hayley
Hayley
I adore leading team T-West and having the opportunity to be in constant learning, creation, movement and stillness alongside this community. I have been a student at PYC since 2011 and a teacher since 2018. This practice and the countless wonderful people I have met throughout transformed my life, teaching me how to love myself and lead with love. I have discovered this is so much more fun than the fear-based life I lived for so long.

Karina G
Karina G
Before discovering Power Yoga Canada, Karina had been practicing meditation and mindfulness for several years. But it was the PYC community that was the catalyst for Karina to transform her life. It was on her mat that she found new physical and mental strengths, self-accountability, and growth by leaning into courage and acceptance while releasing fear and resistance in her everyday life and relationships. Karina is excited to empower you on your mat, hold space for you to discover what is possible and connect with higher self and your PYC T’West Community.

Kia G
Kia G
Kia grew up in New Delhi, joining her mom for temple pujas, kirtans, and seva(service) - early experiences she later recognized as elements of Bhakti Yoga. While she didn’t practice Asana at the time, those moments planted a seed that blossomed when she moved to Canada at 21 and discovered hot yoga. She has been practicing consistently ever since, drawn to the joy of movement, sweat, and community. Kia loves guiding students to find power through presence and breath, leaving them grounded and uplifted.

Down-to-earth movement. Inspiring students to go that one more inch. Yoga is allowed to be fun!

Leah

My yoga journey began at PYC in 2012 to help with a back injury. It soon became an outlet to quiet my mind, reconnect with my body, and find balance on and off the mat.

Mike M
Mike M
Mike's life was transformed through Power Yoga Canada. He struggled with weight and body image issues since childhood, topping the scales at 240 pounds by 13 years old. Mike's yoga journey started in 2013 after a friend, who had just finished PYC teacher training, talked him into a private class. After 40 minutes of bumbling around on his mat, Mike felt lit up and wanted more. From that day forward, he practiced several times a week. Within six months, he had signed up for teacher's training, and less than a year after his first yoga experience, he was a certified yoga instructor. He continued on to take many more trainings and quickly became a powerful instructor and program and workshop facilitator in the PYC community. Mike's journey with yoga has allowed him to find deep inner calmness and self-acceptance. Yoga has helped him understand that what seemed like the most difficult times in his life, have been integral to his growth and outlook on life, love, health and happiness. Mike guides his students to disconnect from daily stressors and just flow with breath. He shows up ready to empower his students to move out of their comfort zone into a place of growth and new possibility.

Pino
Pino
Pino’s classes meet you where you are, then nudge you past it. Expect to sweat, to breathe, and to find the edge where effort softens into ease. He pairs real physical challenge with a quiet, steady presence, so you leave both worked and settled. Come to build strength or to slow down. Either way, there’s space here to meet yourself honestly, on the mat and beyond it. A dedicated practitioner and teacher, Pino also has a daily meditation practice that shapes how he holds the room.

Shama
Shama
I've been teaching with PYC since 2013! I'm known for a grounded intentional flow and skillful hands-on assists. My classes weave together movement and music to create an immersive practice where my students feel supported, present, and deeply connected to their bodies and their breath. Meeting and experiencing all of our community members (students, teachers, EEs) lights me up & I look forward to meeting you.

Tina D
Tina D
Tina's yoga journey began in 2009, during a time when she was seeking a deeper connection between my mind and body. What started as a physical practice soon evolved into a passion for exploring the profound interplay between movement, breath, and awareness. For Tina, yoga became more than just an exercise; it became a sanctuary for self-discovery, healing, and growth. Through the years, Tina cultivated a deep appreciation for the transformative power of yoga, not only in creating physical balance and flexibility but also in nurturing mental clarity and emotional resilience. Her passion lies in helping others experience this connection for themselves, offering practices that encourage stillness, mindfulness, and a return to the body’s innate wisdom. Whether guiding others through gentle flows, restorative practices, or meditative yoga nidra sessions, Tina's goal is to create a space where students can explore the beautiful harmony of mind and body.
