Ashley
Ashley
My name is Ashley Burton … and before PYC, I was someone who really didn’t realize who I actually was. I felt like what I did for a living, my culture, age and heritage – all these exterior attributes – made up WHO I WAS. At the time I was living a life for myself really and much less self-aware than I’ve become after diving into the culture of personal development and self inquiry.

I love teaching yoga. My goal when I step into a class is to connect with every student on an energetic level. I want your experience to be a powerful dance between poses, breath and inner exploration where you'll leave feeling both rinsed and rejuvenated, leaving you lighter in your body, calmer in your mind and more connected to yourself.

Danielle

I discovered Power Yoga Canada in 2013, and this practice has transformed my life. From student to teacher, including Baptiste Level One and Deep Flow Teacher Training, yoga has taught me resilience, presence, and growth. I love creating a space where others can challenge themselves, connect authentically, and discover what's possible both on and off the mat.

Erin
Erin
Hi, I'm Erin! I love creating classes that feel both energizing and grounding. Expect great music, lots of flow, and a class that's equal parts fun and empowering. I love offering alignment cues so you can better understand what each pose should feel like in your body, while encouraging you to let go of the outside world and be fully present. My hope is you'll leave feeling lighter, stronger, happier, and more connected to yourself.

My goal for all my classes is to create a space where everyone feels comfortable and empowered to explore their practice with curiosity, compassion and joy. Whether I’m leading Power Vinyasa, Deep Flow or YIN, my class will be grounded in mindful breath, intentional movement and lots of humour. I invite students to be fully present in their bodies, meet themselves where they’re at and laugh through all the wobbly bits. Students will leave my class feeling both lighter and more grounded. And hopefully, more connected to themselves, mind body and soul.

Jax

Jen

Hi, I’m Jen! I’m obsessed with yoga, music (incubus), sunshine, and my people. I’ve always loved to move, and yoga has given me a place to challenge myself, reconnect, and simply be. Music, movement, laughter, and connection are what light me up, and I love bringing that same energy into every class I teach. I teach with high energy, a killer playlist, and heart, creating a welcoming space where you can discover your own rhythm, challenge yourself, and maybe even surprise yourself along the way. My hope is that you leave feeling happy, stronger, more connected, and inspired both on and off your mat. ❤️

Hi, I’m Leane. I am a water sign who brings fire to the room. Nothing inspires me more than a supportive community of people who show up for themselves and each other. Music is the heartbeat of the class and playlist building is one of my favourite things to do. Expect a sweaty, breath-led practice and a grounded ride home.

I would love to see YOU mat side!

Hi yogi, thanks for taking the time to read this. I was a VP in a corporate job until my job moved to Quebec. I took teacher training at age 52 and was teaching when I turned 53. 5 years later I couldn’t imagine doing anything else! I have a big family, a big heart and my greatest joy is seeing people move, breathe and shift into their best self with yoga and weights being a part of their journey. At 58 years grateful I can’t wait to inspire you, be inspired by you and meet you where you are. We really are better together.

I found my way to yoga as a practice of presence, curiosity, and connection. My classes are rooted in three guiding principles: breath, exploration, and feeling what we need to feel. I encourage students to move with awareness, approach their practice with a spirit of discovery, and stay connected to themselves throughout. Expect thoughtful movement, mindful breathing, and a light, playful atmosphere—we work hard, but we don’t take ourselves too seriously.

Yoga found me again when I needed it most, becoming a way to reconnect with myself while living far from home. Returning to Canada after teaching abroad, I found community at Power Yoga Canada Burlington and was inspired to become part of the Energy Exchange team before completing my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training. My goal is to create classes that are creative, empowering, and challenging, helping you leave feeling stronger, calmer, and more connected to yourself.

My classes offer a supportive, uplifting environment where you’ll be challenged, encouraged, and inspired to grow. Every time you step onto your mat, you’re investing in yourself, and I’m honoured to be part of that journey.

I am truly guided by the belief that yoga is for EVERYBODY! I love holding space for my students. I hope to share practices that nurture presence, an opportunity to reconnect with themselves, and cultivate strength--and joy in everyday life.

Tim
Tim
Tim brings an approachable, grounded energy to his teaching and believes yoga is something you experience rather than something you need to perfect. His classes invite students to move, breathe, explore and challenge themselves while making the practice their own. Expect thoughtful movement, encouragement and a welcoming space for every level of experience.

One hot power yoga class at PYC Oakville in 2016 was all it took—I walked in curious and left completely hooked. Since then, I’ve completed over 500 hours of teacher training and continue to be a student first. My classes blend breath, alignment, movement, and a healthy dose of curiosity. Expect opportunities to challenge yourself, celebrate the wobbles, and discover both strength and freedom on your mat. Come for the sweat, stay for the connection of an incredible community.
