I’ve been teaching yoga for over 15 years, and it’s truly one of the greatest joys of my life. As one of the original teachers at Power Yoga Canada since its very first day, I’ve had the privilege of growing alongside an incredible community and witnessing the transformative power of a consistent practice. My journey has also taken me to Australia, where I spent several years teaching and deepening my perspective on movement, mindfulness, and connection. My classes are rooted in thoughtful alignment, mindful movement, and building strength—both physically and mentally. I believe that understanding how your body moves allows you to practice with confidence, challenge yourself safely, and create a practice that supports you for years to come. Whether it’s your very first class or you’ve been practicing for years, my goal is for you to feel welcomed, supported, and empowered exactly as you are. I strive to create an inclusive space where every student feels comfortable exploring their own journey, celebrating progress, and embracing the process without judgment.

With a background as a Chef and Food Therapist, Gillian approaches yoga as a way to nourish our whole being, supporting students in cultivating strength, grounded intention, and connection.

Haze

Haze

Haze

Haze discovered yoga in 2018 after a third meniscal tear from high-impact exercise pushed her to find low-impact options for cardio. At Power Yoga Canada, she developed a practice rooted in strength, stability and stamina. She started teaching in 2021 and balances challenge with choice throughout her classes. By anchoring each flow in Tadasana, she encourages students to explore modifications that can help with finding their fullest expressions in every pose. Haze works at creating an inclusive, inviting space where you can experience a mix of presence, power, play and pause.

Jen

Hi, I’m Jen! I’m obsessed with yoga, music (incubus), sunshine, and my people. I’ve always loved to move, and yoga has given me a place to challenge myself, reconnect, and simply be. Music, movement, laughter, and connection are what light me up, and I love bringing that same energy into every class I teach. I teach with high energy, a killer playlist, and heart, creating a welcoming space where you can discover your own rhythm, challenge yourself, and maybe even surprise yourself along the way. My hope is that you leave feeling happy, stronger, more connected, and inspired both on and off your mat. ❤️

I have practiced yoga for over 15 years and taught for 10. I love creating inclusive, empowering classes that challenge students and help them feel capable on and off the mat. I love teaching at PYC Oakville because of its strong community and energy. Outside the studio, I enjoy riding, travelling, reading, and spending time with family and friends.

Teaching yoga since 2017, I create classes that blend fire and depth. My flows are strong and playful that tire the body so the spirit has room to speak. My playlists shift weekly, echoing the world around us or a piece of yogic philosophy that feels alive in the moment. After years as a CEO and writing Unleash Your Best Self, I now teach because I believe yoga is a doorway into who we’re meant to become. I love guiding students toward their fullest expression.

Hi yogi, thanks for taking the time to read this. I was a VP in a corporate job until my job moved to Quebec. I took teacher training at age 52 and was teaching when I turned 53. 5 years later I couldn’t imagine doing anything else! I have a big family, a big heart and my greatest joy is seeing people move, breathe and shift into their best self with yoga and weights being a part of their journey. At 58 years grateful I can’t wait to inspire you, be inspired by you and meet you where you are. We really are better together.

PYC has been my home for over 10 years! What started as a search for a workout became a journey to community, purpose, and connection. It's an honour to share the practice that has transformed my life. My hope is that every person who hits their mats with me leaves feeling a little lighter, stronger, seen, connected, and part of something bigger than themselves.

Natalie

Natalie

Natalie

Hi, I'm Natalie! I first discovered yoga as a way to support my dance training by building strength, flexibility, and preventing injuries. I fell in love with the practice, and it now supports all aspects of my life. In 2025, I completed my PYC Yoga Teacher Training in Nicaragua, earning my 200-hour certification. As a dance teacher, choreographer, and professional dancer working in film, television, and live performances, I bring my movement knowledge and creativity into my yoga and pilates classes, creating a welcoming, uplifting, and motivating space for everyone!

I found my way to yoga as a practice of presence, curiosity, and connection. My classes are rooted in three guiding principles: breath, exploration, and feeling what we need to feel. I encourage students to move with awareness, approach their practice with a spirit of discovery, and stay connected to themselves throughout. Expect thoughtful movement, mindful breathing, and a light, playful atmosphere—we work hard, but we don’t take ourselves too seriously.

I discovered yoga over 30 years ago as a dancer in New York City. Since then, it has become my practice and my purpose. I have been teaching and facilitating programs at Power Yoga Canada since the first studio opened, and I remain as motivated today as when I began. Through teaching, an entirely new world can open—one of connection, expression, and liberation. I share this work so others can experience that same freedom. Early in my teacher training, I learned that we don’t teach poses, we teach principles. The form is not the most important thing. What matters most is how people are left feeling. The world needs more fearless warriors—not on the yoga mat, but on the path of life. Every class is an opportunity to be transformed.

One hot power yoga class at PYC Oakville in 2016 was all it took—I walked in curious and left completely hooked. Since then, I’ve completed over 500 hours of teacher training and continue to be a student first. My classes blend breath, alignment, movement, and a healthy dose of curiosity. Expect opportunities to challenge yourself, celebrate the wobbles, and discover both strength and freedom on your mat. Come for the sweat, stay for the connection of an incredible community.
